Important!! Catholic Blog Public Service Announcement!

Attention all Catholic bloggers!!

In the event that your blog experiences reduced traffic during the next 36 to 48 hours, it is important that you do not panic.

I repeat,

DO NOT PANIC!!!

There is no reason to be alarmed.  Thousands upon thousands of faithful blog readers are currently in Washington DC for the March for Life, and thus are unable to read your posts.  Furthermore, many Catholic blog readers who are not attending the March for Life are most likely watching it on EWTN and tweeting about it.  Or, they’re writing 7 Quick Take posts for Conversion Diary…

In any case, this condition should correct itself within the next 36 to 48 hours.

If your blog generates revenue, whether by ads or any other system, and should this expected drop in traffic cause any amount of economic hardship, the USCCB has established a special fund to assist you during your time of need.  Simply go to the USCCB website, click on the “New Evangelization” tab, and open the “Catholic Bloggers Restitution Fund” worksheet.  Complete and submit the form online, and within six to eight weeks, you will receive your funds.
