As I mentioned over at Cleansing Fire, it’s full of lies. The reference to St. Terese is a new one on me, and not surprisingly, it’s based on a quote that is a lie by omission. The whole thing is good news in the sense that is is self-exposure of the women’s ordination movement as mendacious, trivial, and completely in the service of un-Christian theologized Political Correctness.
Scott, the reference isn’t new to me. You are right about it being a lie by ommission. They fail to admit that St Terese submitted willingly to the Catholic Church’s doctrine on this.
I’m actually disgusted. Anyone notice how they said the “pope in a hat is in MY way??” How does any priest expect to serve the faithful with that attitude?
I love how they want us to leave them and their “morality” alone, but they’d like to be all up in our business.

BTW, right before I watched this, I was listening to a video by Renato Carosone called “Tu Vuò Fa’ L’Americano” (So you want to be an Americano) from a 1958 movie. So I muted this video & played the other video at the same time. Guess what? This video worked perfectly with the song about Italianos wanting to be something their not, Americans. Coincidence that the Italiano song works with a video about women wanting to be something they aren’t, priestesses? I think not.
PS The Carasone video is longer because it has more on the end, but the time for the song,Tu Vuò Fa’ L’Americano, is almost exactly the same as the length of this video.
So now if you will excuse me, I am fighting hard to not ROTFLOL at the library & better go before I fail & break out in loud guffaws.
